I just got a text from one of my best friends telling me that she got into a car accident on the highway on her way back from Colorado. A semi-truck's tire blew out and hit her car. She says the entire front and underpart is damaged. I have yet to actually hear the whole story because she has been talking with the police about it, but I am just so thankful that she and her mom are okay. I am thankful that the tire didn't hit just a little bit higher and go through the windshield. Yes, it's terrible that her car is wrecked, but cars can be repaired or replaced. You only get so many best friends. Be thankful for them. Be thankful for everything you have because you never know how fast it can all slip away.
